Of course Liverpool is famous for football, with two famous Premiership teams Liverpool and Everton. LFC remain one of the most successful clubs of all time, and a trip to the stadium/museum is an essential part of any visit to the city.

If you can't get a ticket to the game, you can watch it in one of the many pubs in the city, meeting local fans and soaking up the atmosphere.

In addition to football, Liverpool has several world class golf courses, an international tennis tournament and one of the biggest horse races in the UK: The Grand National. If you like to play sport the school has weekly 5 a side football, and is close to the excellent sport facilities of Liverpool University.
